About

About Tawasaw

Empowering the Malaysian Muslim community through experiential learning, mentorship, and transformative education.

Our Story

Tawasaw Malaysia was founded with a simple yet profound vision: to make authentic, high-quality Islamic education accessible to every Muslim in Malaysia, regardless of their background or location.

The name “Tawasaw” comes from Surah Al-Asr, where Allah speaks of those who counsel each other to truth (tawaasaw bil-haqq) and counsel each other to patience (tawaasaw bis-sabr). This mutual encouragement toward truth and perseverance is at the heart of everything we do.

In a rapidly changing world, Malaysian Muslims face unique challenges — navigating a multicultural society, addressing modern ethical dilemmas through an Islamic lens, raising children with strong Islamic identity, and managing finances in a Shariah-compliant manner. Tawasaw exists to equip our community with the knowledge and support they need to thrive.

Our Mission

To empower Malaysian Muslims with authentic Islamic knowledge through accessible, engaging, and community-driven educational experiences that bridge traditional scholarship with contemporary relevance.
